The inside sales person should be personable, well organized and detail oriented. They will be required to interact with customers daily and provide prompt, effective, and helpful communication. They will need to develop a working knowledge of products sold, production procedures, product costs, and delivery. Providing superior customer service will be a daily focus.

a. The Inside Sales Person will be responsible for answering the phone and disseminating customer information to the appropriate person promptly.

b. Requisition pricing for miscellaneous hardware and resale items to include in WCP/MCP proposal.

c. The Inside Sales Person will be proficient in Titan (software) to conduct material take-offs from a set of engineering plans and prepare an accurate, clear, concise quote for all applicable products and distribute the quote to all interested customers.

d. The Inside Sales Person will assist with the distribution of the quotes, answer questions during the bid process, make any necessary quote revisions, and gather as much information as possible in order to secure an order.

e. The Inside Sales Person will track all unsuccessful quotes to determine the reason the customer chose not to purchase from MCP/WCP.

f. The Inside Sales Person will help maintain a sales log including a breakdown of all products bid, products sold, pricing, low contractor, low supplier if not us and why.

g. The Inside Sales Person will help initiate a sales order and job file for all successful quotes including but not limited to customer name, tentative delivery date, tax status, submittal requirements and any special purchased items required to complete the job.

h. The Inside Sales person will act as a liaison between the customer and WCP/MCP personnel to ensure the order is moving along in an efficient and accurate manner to meet the customer’s expectations.

i. The Inside Sales Person may be required to trouble shoot any technical issue that may arise between the MCP/WCP, the customer and/or the engineer.

j. The inside Sales Person will return all missed phone calls the same day if possible but not longer than 24 hours.

k. The Inside Sales Person will be responsible for representing WCP/MCP in a friendly and professional manner at all times. Customer service will be a top priority when interacting with clients.

l. The Inside Sales Person will understand how to generate Titan submittal / production drawings and understand how to construct a complete submittal package to assist the submittal department as required.

m. The Inside Sales Person will be the primary contact for all “walk-in” and “seconds material” customers.

Some college is preferred.

Previous sales experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
